Deadline extension – 11th March
Join us for a weekend in the unspoilt stunning scenery of the tranquil area known as Upper Teesdale.
Historically Upper Teesdale was known as the most northerly of the Yorkshire Dales and lies within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty The whole of Upper Teesdale is designated an SSSI mainly because of its unique plants, many of which are rare relics from the arctic-alpine conditions that existed after the last ice age and are found nowhere else in England. The flow of the River Tees headwaters over the geology of dark igneous rocks has created spectacular waterfalls, including High Force, which at 21m is England’s highest unbroken waterfall.
